Sasha Bravo is the founder of Pearla del Mar. She is a lapidarist, jewelry artist, and GIA Graduate Gemologist. Her interest for gems and minerals began some 20+ years ago, while rock hounding with her parents as a child, in the Southern California area. Her inspiration for gemstones grew from her living in some of the most beautiful locations around the world, including the Bahamas, Hawaii and Australia.
Upon completion of the Gemology in residency program in Carlsbad, CA, she began traveling extensively. She pursued to network, find reputable sources, and communicate with people in the industry who share the same fascination for gemstones, in particular Opals and Pearls.
Pearla del Mar was born in 2006, young, but with a life long interest and curiosity
for beautiful gems!
She truly enjoys the nature of her career, and this is also reflected in her photography throughout the website.
She is grateful for being able to pursue her interests, and fascination for gemstones and jewelry.
